What was supposed to be a discussion of the John Freshwater case turned into a one-sided attack by Geraldo Rivera on Coach Dave. Coach was invited on by Geraldo to "discuss" the "branding" of crosses on the arms of students. Things got off to a bad start right away as Geraldo made mention of Coach's popular "Cross Cap" and degenerated from there. Acting as judge, jury and executioner Geraldo's plan fell apart when Coach told the viewers that John Freshwater had not branded crosses on anyone and that he would never harm a student. Geraldo did everything he could do to prevent coach from speaking the truth.
